GMS POWer Coordinator Michelle Leibfried and the PTA are looking for your help! We are working together to plan the 7th annual POWer event on Saturday, March 21 8am-1pm. We are seeking the following PLANNING COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS: RAFFLE PRIZES, FOOD & DECORATIONS, SPEAKERS, EVENT SPONSORS, RAFFLE PRIZE DONATIONS, AND FOOD DONATIONS for the event. If you are interested in helping in any way please attend one of the following informational meetings or contact Michelle Leibfried

Informational Meetings: Tuesday, October 8 9:30am-10:15am or Thursday, October 10 4:00-4:45pm at Gregory Middle School

POWer is a FREE event for Gregory Middle School girls and their adult guests. Girls and their guests start with breakfast, hear a keynote, attend 3 workshops and then can shop at the event trade show. POWer is designed to inspire and empower our students to believe in themselves, discover their unique gifts and talents, develop courage to stand up for their beliefs, empower them to be active members of society, and to increase their self-confidence. Gregory and our community come together to plan a fun and inspirational day for our students and their guests.

If you own your own business or work for a corporation that is committed to inspiring young teens to be confident, kind, compassionate, active members in their communities, please let us know how you can get involved. Participants will have opportunities to learn about what their community has to offer them outside the classroom. You can find more details about POWer at:

Please contact the GMS Coordinator with any questions or suggestions.
